Emilie Sintobin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Art History with a dual major in French from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and completed a Contemporary Art Certificate program through the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York, New York.

She has spent over a decade working in the contemporary art world, having started her career at Greene Naftali Gallery in New York. She went on to work as a studio manager for two well-known New York contemporary artists, David Altmejd and Judith Bernstein. Her work and personal interests have brought her to a number of far-flung locales, including the Far West Texas town of Marfa, where she lived for two years while working in depth with the cultural institution Ballroom Marfa. Sintobin has now moved “home” to Santa Fe, where her family resides, she intends to stay long term.
