Frank Messenger opened a large publishing house, the Messenger Publishing Company, in 1913, in the Midwest. Many original works were commissioned for reproduction purposes. The Messenger Art Collection was originally concentrated on religious images for calendars, prayer cards and the like, yet the business expanded into other areas such as pinups, wildlife, Americana, historic art and more. This massive collection of 4-5000 works of art was acquired in 2010 by a new owner and slowly restored. These are available for acquisition for the first time!
